Bath time + Nûby Splish Splash Bath Time Stacking Cups

Bath time is a favorite time of the day for this little one! I'm telling you, this girl knows how to relax. She loves splashing around in a warm bubble bath!
I mean, who doesn't? ;)

And what does every babe need to top off a perfect bath? Bath toys of course!
One of Mila's current favorites are the Nuby Splish Splash Bath Time Stacking Cups!

Not only are they super fun with patterns and bright colors but they help teach coordination, development, and are BPA free.
She can stack them up, scoop up water inside, and watch the water drain from the bottom (that's Mila's favorite part as you can see below) They keep her entertained for so long!

Bath time is so much fun for this little one!
Oh and sidenote--how cute are her little teeth?! She just had another one pop through overnight--which made for a long night for all of us--but now has a total of 4 teeth!
You can get these fun cups at Amazon // BuyBuyBaby // Walmart

day trip to kemah boardwalk

First off, y'all should know that this time of year is Houston's time to shine! The full-force humidity hasn't hit quite yet and the sunny days are just dreamy. As you can imagine, we try to soak up as much of it as we can get before the summer heat hits.

We love hitting up the park and going on walks, but this past weekend we decided to try something new...a day trip to Kemah Boardwalk!
Kemah Boardwalk Texas
It was my first time there and it may have been because my expectations were really low, but I was actually really impressed (I mean, it's the Gulf of Mexico...so it's not the most scenic but they've done a good job with what they have!) There are lots of rides and games for different ages (most of the rides are definitely for an older audience though) I do recommend buying your tickets in advance if you're going on a busy day, because the ticket lines were beyond ridiculous.
The walk along the boardwalk is nice and you can watch the sailboats come in and out. We also went on a stunning day--so that added a lot!

Kemah Boardwalk
Mila just LOVES being outdoors. We've rarely had experiences with her outside that go poorly. This girl lives for a little adventure! She was so fascinated with the rides and the people--waving at everyone :) She's a hoot!

This picture was Rob's idea...and as always--I'm certainly glad he insisted we take it!
For cute, right?!
Kemah Boardwalk
My only complaints are
 1) Smoking is allowed everywhere, and I hate that--especially with that many children around.
2) It was really crowded and there wasn't a lot of seating (aside from the restaurant seats)

Also parking costs $7 but it's not that big of a deal and the lots are watched by parking attendant which is nice!
It was super delicious! 100% recommend it!
I got the classic grilled chicken pita and Robert got the gyro.
Both were delicious, and make sure to get fries on the side. They were so tasty.
Oh, and Mila got her favorite--hummus! Our girl can pound some hummus. She loves that stuff.

Overall, we really enjoyed our day!
If you live in Houston, a day trip to Kemah Boardwalk is a fun way to get out of the city and spend some time by the sea!

we heart cookies + dabbling duck bib

Fact: It is important for us to have at least one cookie snack time every day ;)

This girl loves her Gerber cookies--just about as much as momma loves a good chocolate chip cookie. And we did some baking this weekend while Uncle Dan was in town (more pics of Mila's first trip to the rodeo and Dan's visit to come) so I've been snacking on these delicious chocolate chip cookies all week! (Definitely give this recipe a try! We used dark chocolate chunks instead of the chips and I am a big fan!) Someone stop me--I seriously have no self control.
Today during snack time we tried out our new ADORABLE floral bib from Dabbling Duck Boutique. How genius is this sleeved design? We are loving it! It's so easy to slip on, ties in the back, and provides full bib coverage. Perfection!
Mila can get pretty messy during meal time and the sleeves on this bib make all the difference! It's also reversible and super easy to clean--just toss it right in the wash. No problem!

Oh, and they have so many cute patterns to choose from! You can see them all here: http://www.dabblingduckboutique.com/handmade/

I'm so impressed with the quality and detail of these darling bibs. The folks at Dabbling Duck have done such a fantastic job! They also have super cute and affordable mocs for your babes as well! Check them out HERE--I'm obsessed!
Isn't she just as sweet as sweet can be? That face kills me!
Happy Tuesday everyone!
